Sabin World Elementary School is one of five DPS elementary schools with the IB program.
IB World Schools share a common philosophy – a commitment to improve the teaching and learning of a diverse and inclusive community of students by delivering challenging, high quality programs of international education. The aim of these programs is to develop internationally minded people who recognize their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, and help to create a better and more peaceful world. As a PYP (Primary Years Programme (PYP)) IB school, Sabin encourages all students to become active, compassionate and globally-minded lifelong learners.
Much of the learning that happens at Sabin fits into one of six transdisciplinary themes, which together make up the Programme of Inquiry (ECE students complete four of these).
